Annabelle’s Senior Session | Bright Eyes, Big Spirit, and a Whole Lot of Cheer

Annabelle's senior session was full of personality, sparkle, and the kind of natural beauty that shines right through the lens. From her striking eyes to her cheer poms on the football field, every moment felt so her, and so much fun to capture.

Senior photo featuring close up of girl's gorgeous green eyes surrounded by greenery.

From the very first moment of her senior session, Annabelle brought the kind of energy photographers dream about. With her stunning blue-green eyes (I mean… come on!!), attention to detail, and contagious spirit, we spent the evening creating photos that feel just like her.

Annabelle came ready with her cheer poms and a big smile, and we headed to the football field where she’s spent so many hours of her high school career. She truly showed off in the best way — even with an unexpected audience we weren’t prepared for (she handled it like a total pro!). We had extra time to play with motion blur which is quickly becoming one of my favorite pieces to add to a senior session.

Beyond the cheer gear, it was the in-between moments that really hit me — the way her eyes caught the light, the way she laughed freely and posed like it was second nature. Every outfit, every movement, every little detail she planned came together so beautifully.

This session was just so fun. It was playful and genuine and full of heart — just like Annabelle. I feel so lucky to be able to capture seniors like her: fierce, joyful, and totally themselves. I also adore all of the time getting to know my seniors- Annabelle works SO HARD and has big dreams for after high school. Knowing that part of her story and getting to cheer her on this year (and beyond) is so exciting to me.

Abby’s Senior Session | Sparkle, Sports & Storm Clouds

Abby’s senior session was all about embracing every side of her: athlete, fashionista, wildflower chaser. From a bedazzled softball to bold storm clouds, this shoot captured her shine and her strength in every frame.

Some sessions are easy to describe… but this one had everything.

Abby brought the full vibe: athletic, bubbly, confident, and unapologetically herself. We started off showcasing her love for sports, complete with a bedazzled softball and volleyball that honestly deserve their own spotlight. She got right into the dirt on the field like the champ she is, showing off her game face and that signature sparkle.

The heat was no joke (I even encouraged her to reschedule after my sweaty shoot the night before) but you’d never know it from the way Abby showed up. She laughed, moved, and totally leaned into making the session feel like her.

Then when we were ready for sunset photos the storm clouds rolled in.

We lost our sunset, but we did not lose the magic. Instead of calling it, we chased the wildflowers anyway. And let me tell you, Abby frolicked through that field like she was straight out of a Taylor Swift music video. 🌸✨

She’s equal parts grit and glam, and I think we captured every side of her story. This is exactly what I love about senior sessions: helping each person feel seen, hyped up, and celebrated exactly as they are.

Abby, thank you for trusting me to help tell your story. You made this session one I won’t forget!

Lilley + Her Crew | A Senior Session with Heart, Humor, and a Whole Lot of Hooves

Lilley's senior picture session brought together everything she loves most—her show cattle, her people, and a sky that showed off at just the right time. From chaotic pigs to cotton candy skies, this shoot was full of personality, heart, and moments that truly captured who she is.

There’s something extra special about senior sessions that include animals, and Lilley’s shoot was no exception. I showed up to the farm and Lilley was ready with three of her show cattle and two pigs, and from the first few minutes, I knew we were in for something memorable.

The cows were absolute stars. They leaned into the snuggles immediately, posed like pros, and you could see just how much they love her. There’s a quiet kind of bond between a girl and her livestock when they’ve spent so much time working together—and it showed in every shot. The pigs? Well… let’s just say they added personality. 😂 Hilariously uncooperative, totally uninterested in direction—but honestly, that made the session even more fun.

We had overcast skies for most of the shoot, which gave us soft light to start, but just when I thought we were wrapping up, the clouds parted and gave us the most beautiful cotton candy sky to finish with. A golden hour glow, with a dreamy pastel sunset? Photographer jackpot.

Lilley’s support squad, her family and her best friend, were absolute MVPs. From keeping animals wrangled to making her laugh between shots, they helped create such a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. It truly felt like capturing a little slice of her world: full of love, laughter, and the kind of grit and grace that comes from farm life.

Lilley, thank you for trusting me with your senior photos. You and your animals made this one for the books.
